New York City. 1975. On an empty Broadway stage, seventeen performers are put through their paces in the final, gruelling audition for a new Broadway musical. Only eight will make the cut.

A Chorus Line is a musical masterpiece that revolutionised Broadway, with creator Michael Bennett using real-life testimonies from late-night recording sessions with dancers. Celebrate the lives of theatre’s unsung heroes, as they tell searing stories of ambition, shattered hopes, and what it really costs to follow your dreams. Your visit will start with a self-guided tour of the magnificent State Rooms of Buckingham Palace, at 11.15am, with a complimentary multimedia guide. After the State Rooms there is time for you to take in the panoramic view of the lawn from the Garden Café on the West Terrace and to visit the Garden Shop.Your Garden Highlights Tour will start at 1.30pm, from the steps on the West Terrace and will last around 45 minutes. Described as 'a walled oasis in the middle of London', it boasts more than 350 types of wildflowers, over 200 trees and a three-acre lake. The tour starting location is clearly signposted and includes the beautiful Herbaceous Border, the summer house, the Rose Garden, the enormous Waterloo Vase and the Palace tennis court, where King George VI and Fred Perry played in the 1930s. This is a walking tour and takes place in all weather, unless it is unsafe to do so. You will have some free time at the end of the tour.


Leaving Stanway at 7.30am, Earls Colne 7.45am, Halstead 8am & Braintree 8.20am. Depart approx 4.30pm.
